It's a story that many marketers in the digital age have heard.
We divided the stages of personalized marketing into two according to the customer's journey.
Maximize advertising efficiency
Strengthen relationships with customers
Let's look at who each stage's target is, its goal, and how it works.
Personalized marketing to maximize advertising efficiency
The first stage is to maximize advertising efficiency through personalized marketing. Target is a relatively broad range of customers aware of our brand but has not yet purchased it. I'll try to find them online and retake them to induce them to visit again.
*What is retaking?
I checked the product on the e-commerce site and ended it. A few days later, you may have experienced an advertisement for the same effect while looking at an Internet newspaper article or social media feed.
This type of advertisement is called retaking advertisement. It is a method of exposing advertisements to users who have a record of entering the website and inducing them to revisit. A well-known example is Google as Facebook Pixel Advertising.
But will people who revisit the brand site flow in because they see ads for the same brand while surfing the Internet? Furthermore, if you are exposed to an advertisement in one of the many display ads below, you will be more likely to ignore and pass by than those who come back to the website through the ad.
How can you leverage personalized marketing to elicit customer responses and maximize the effectiveness of retargeting advertising?
Target needs to be subdivided.
And we need to use the personalized message that suits the customer as advertising material.
Find customers who might be interested in our products rather than an unspecified number and match the advertising material that each target group will respond to If the two steps go well.
We can increase the percentage of consumers who respond to advertising, which is critical in maximizing advertising efficiency.
